Dear Colleagues and Friends;
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am honored to welcome you to Taipei, Taiwan for the 12th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC), to be held on June 12-16, 2022. Taipei is a modern and dynamic cosmopolitan metropolis; from the world's tallest building (2004-2010) to the biggest collection of Chinese art, Taipei invites you to experience fascinating contrasts - a mix of the modern and traditional, with a generous dash of energy and friendly smiles to make this meeting your most memorable trip to Asia.
In this major biennial 4-day-event, a wide range of interesting aerosol science and technology topics will be discussed. There will be plenary/keynote speeches and parallel platform/poster sessions as well as an exhibition area to provide opportunities to engage with leading companies offering state-of-the-art instrumentation and services in aerosol science and technology. We will also be hosting presentations for the Asian Young Aerosol Scientist Award to recognize outstanding contributions by young aerosol scientists in Asian countries, and honoring Asian Aerosol Fellow awardees for their outstanding services to the Asian Aerosol Research Assembly and significant contributions to the field of aerosol science and technology.
Asia, with more than 4.5 billion people living in 49 different nations, is the fastest growing economic region in the world. Asian aerosol scientists certainly need to do more to promote the advancement of aerosol science in the region.
